The Contactless CashCard is a new generation, contactless, multipurpose stored value CashCard that can be used for your motoring needs in Singapore, starting from 2 May 2018. The Contactless CashCard can only be used in Dual Mode In-Vehicle Units (IUs).

The Contactless CashCard can be used just as you would use your current CashCard, for payment of ERP and carpark charges. However, it can only be used in Dual Mode In-Vehicle Units (IUs).

The new Contactless CashCard also offers the following new features:

  • Auto Top-Up
    • Enable auto top-up with your credit/debit card as your source of funds and never worry about insufficient card value again
  • Contactless Functionality
    • For carpark readers which do not support automatic fee deduction, you can now simply tap the carpark reader instead of having to insert your card
  • Contactless CashCard App (Coming Soon)
    • The Contactless CashCard now comes with a supporting mobile app which allows you to check your card balance and expiry, view your transaction history, and perform top ups.

You can top up the Contactless CashCard up to a maximum of S$500 in stored value.

The Contactless CashCard costs $10 ($5 Card Cost + $5 Stored Value). This is the same price as the current CashCard.

For online purchases of the Contactless CashCard at NETS Online Sales Portal, the Contactless CashCard will be sold at $5 per card without stored value.

The Contactless CashCard is available for purchase at the following locations:

  • Convenience Stores: 7-Eleven, Cheers & Caltex
    The Contactless CashCard will be sold @ $10 per card ($5 Card Cost + $5 Stored Value)
  • NETS Online Sales Portal 
    The Contactless CashCard will be sold @ $5 per card without stored value

You can use the Contactless CashCard to pay for all your motoring needs - ERP, checkpoint toll and carpark charges. Please note that the Contactless CashCard can only be used in Dual Mode In-Vehicle Units (IUs).

For ERP

Just like your existing CashCard, insert the Contactless CashCard into the car’s Dual Mode IU to pay for your ERP charges.

For Carpark

  • Where auto-deduction is available, as per current CashCard, insert the Contactless CashCard into the car’s Dual Mode IU for entry to and exit from the carpark.
  • Where auto-deduction is not available, tap the Contactless CashCard on the carpark reader

For more details about the various carpark payment methods:

  • Full EPS Carpark: Continue to insert the Contactless CashCard into the car’s Dual Mode IU for entry to and exit from the carpark.
  • First Generation EPS Carpark: Continue to insert the Contactless CashCard into the car’s Dual Mode IU for entry to the carpark. For exit, remove the Contactless CashCard from the Dual Mode IU and tap on the carpark reader.
  • In/Out Carpark: Tap the Contactless CashCard on the carpark reader to enter and exit from the carpark.

Yes, the Contactless CashCard can be accepted for vehicle tolls at the customs.

You can view your Contactless CashCard's transaction history at the following locations:

  • NETS Top-Up Machines (Please select 'NETS FlashPay / Contactless CashCard')
  • NETS Self-Service Stations (Please select 'NETS FlashPay / Contactless CashCard')
  • Local Banks ATMs (Please select 'NETS FlashPay / Contactless CashCard')
  • NETS Customer Service Centre located at 298 Tiong Bahru Road #06-01 Central Plaza 
    • Operating hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm (Mondays to Fridays) and 8:30am to 12:30pm (Saturdays)
  • NETS Contactless CashCard App (Coming soon)

Note: A fee of $0.20 (GST inclusive) is chargeable for each statement print, similar to statement print at local banks' ATMs for NETS CashCard. For statement print at ATM, the last 10 transactions can be printed. For statement print at NETS Top-Up Machines or NETS Self-Service Top-Up Stations, a maximum of up to 30 transactions can be printed.

The Contactless CashCard is deemed non-retrievable once misplaced. There is no refund for lost and/or stolen Contactless CashCards.

Please proceed to perform a statement printout at any DBS/POSB, OCBC or UOB ATMs (a nominal fee is applicable) or NETS self-service top-up terminals. Thereafter, send the printout together with the transaction details (i.e. transaction date, amount & location) to info@nets.com.sg for investigation. You will be notified on the findings and follow up actions within 5 working days.

The Contactless CashCard is a CEPAS card and can only be used in the Dual Mode IU. Please use a NETS CashCard if you are using a 1st Generation In-Vehicle Unit. You can continue to use your NETS CashCard until the card expires.

If the balance on your Contactless CashCard balance is less than $5, you will be alerted by a beeping tone when the card is inserted into the Dual Mode IU.

You can top up the Contactless CashCard at the following locations:

  • Local Banks ATMs (Please select ‘NETS FlashPay/Contactless CashCard’)
  • NETS Top Up Machine (Please select ‘NETS FlashPay/Contactless CashCard’)
  • NETS Self-Service Station (Please select ‘NETS FlashPay/Contactless CashCard’)
  • Convenience Stores: 7-Eleven & Cheers*
  • Contactless CashCard Mobile App*
  • Auto Top-Up using Credit/Debit Card as Source of Funds*
  • NETS Customer Service Centre
    • 298 Tiong Bahru Road #06-01 Central Plaza
    • Operating Hours - 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (Mondays - Fridays) 8.30 am to 12:30 pm (Saturdays)

*Note: A top-up fee may apply:

  • up to $0.30 per transaction for Top Up via NETS bank card
  • up to $0.50 per transaction for Top Up via Cash/Credit/Debit Card

Consumers can choose to top up the Contactless CashCard from a minimum of $10 to a maximum amount of $500.

The Contactless CashCard comes with Auto Top-Up Facility using Credit/Debit Cards as the source of funds. You can register here:

  • Auto Top-Up Site 
    • As the Contactless CashCard is powered by NETS FlashPay, registration for Auto Top Up is performed via the NETS FlashPay Auto Top-Up Site
  • Via the Contactless CashCard Mobile App (coming soon)

Yes. You may obtain a refund of your Contactless CashCard at the following refund points:

  • DBS/POSB, OCBC or UOB ATMs
  • Local Bank Branches (for cards that cannot be refunded at Banks ATMs)
  • NETS Customer Service Centre

The card is valid for use for 7 years from the date of issue. The card is valid for full refund for 8 years from the date of issue. At the start of the 9th year, a service fee of $1 per month is deducted from the remaining card balance.

If your Contactless CashCard is damaged/faulty, please visit the NETS Customer Service Centre located at 298 Tiong Bahru Road #06-01 Central Plaza - Operating Hours: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (Mondays - Fridays)8.30 am to 12:30 pm (Saturdays) to have your card checked. If a refund is necessary, it will be processed and the remaining stored value will be credited into your designated bank account within 14 working days.

If the Contactless CashCard is damaged, please visit the NETS Customer Service Centre located at 298 Tiong Bahru Road #06-01 Central Plaza - Operating Hours: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (Mondays - Fridays)8.30 am to 12:30 pm (Saturdays) to have your card checked. You will be issued with a replacement card if the card is faulty or corrupted.

Yes, the Contactless CashCard has a validity period of 7 years from the date of issue.

You can find the expiry date:

  • On your top up receipt or statement print receipt
  • Via the Contactless CashCard Mobile App (coming soon)
  • By calling our NETS Customer Service at 6274 1212 with the 16 – digit CAN number on the back of your Contactless CashCard

As the Contactless CashCard is powered by NETS FlashPay, the Terms & Conditions Governing the Use of the Contactless CashCard rides on the Terms & Conditions Governing the Use of the NETS FlashPay card.

Yes, you can still continue to use your existing NETS CashCard for your motoring needs until it expires.  It works in both first generation and Dual Mode IU.
