Lawrence Chan

Group Chief Executive Officer

Mr Chan brings more than 20 years of deep and diversified experience to his position as Group CEO of NETS. He is focused on implementing the strategic direction of NETS' business to build digital payments, merchant network and connectivity with overseas payments rails and is spearheading efforts to strengthen NETS' position in the rapidly evolving digital payment space.

Prior to joining NETS, he served as Vice President – Regional Client Management, Asia Pacific for Visa and was responsible for managing regional acquirers such as Global Payments, WorldPay, Fiserv, Checkout.com, and regional merchants which included Grab, FoodPanda, McDonalds, Chevron, Agoda, and Expedia. Mr Chan also previously held leadership positions at PayPal and American Express. At PayPal, he was Vice President and General Manager for Japan and Southeast Asia. He also served as a Director on the Board of PayPal Pte Ltd until 2015. At American Express, he was based in Japan for four years, where he led the Merchant business before returning to Singapore and assuming the position of Senior Vice President, Global Payment Options, Asia Pacific. Mr Chan earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics (Honours) Degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science, UK.

Jocelyn Ang

Managing Director, Consumer Business

She drives growth and value for the company’s businesses through the development of sales and strategic relationship management with partners. In her tenure with NETS, she has held various senior management positions including General Manager (Operations), General Manager (Cards & Processing Business) and General Manager (Business Development & Strategic Planning). Ms Ang has previously served at Singapore Network Services and the National Computer Board and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science from the National University of Singapore, a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Singapore Institute of Management and an MBA from the University of Durham, UK.

Desmond Goh

Chief Financial Officer

As the Group’s CFO, Mr Goh drives the Group’s overall financial strategy as NETS charts its next phase of growth. He oversees the implementation and management of all financial-related activities for the companies under the NETS Group to align the business and finance strategy.

Mr Goh brings solid corporate expertise to NETS as well as over 20 years of diverse experience in corporate finance, financial management and mergers & acquisitions across various industries. He has developed and implemented strategic growth plans, led various automation projects and managed and transformed teams in his previous roles. Mr Goh graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Business and an Executive Master in Business Administration conferred by INSEAD and Tsinghua University.

David Woo

Chief Information Technology Officer

As Chief Information Technology Officer of the NETS Group, Mr Woo plays a critical role in leading the development of the technology and teams that enable NETS to deliver innovative payment products and services across digital and mobile payments to consumers and merchants. He is responsible for the Group’s overall technology strategy, technology solutions planning and design, and ensures support and availability for NETS’ managed information systems.

Mr Woo brings more than 25 years of technology and payment industry experience at major global corporations including Accenture, Cassis International, VISA Inc and Oberthur Technologies/IDEMIA. In his tenure at NETS, he served in several roles including Chief Information Officer (NETS) and Chief Information Officer (Banking Computer Services) during which he drove the migration of ATM cards from magnetic stripe technology to chip-based technology, and led the conceptualisation and implementation of the Singapore QR (SGQR) Central Repository. Mr Woo earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Leeds.

In her role as Group Chief Marketing Officer, Ms Tan determines the Group’s corporate advertising and branding strategy and oversees the planning, development and execution of its marketing and communications activities.

She is also responsible for the Group's corporate affairs, overseeing internal and external communications, media relations, corporate events and CSR. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, having held senior roles in marketing, business development and cards across various business lines. Prior to joining NETS, she was Regional Head of Brand and Marketing, ASEAN and South Asia at Standard Chartered Bank. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from RMIT University.

Stephen Lee

Mr Lee brings over 27 years of diverse work experience ranging from Risk & Governance, business operations and IT management. He has previously held various regional and global roles in organizations such as Agilent Technologies and International SOS group.

In his previous role, Mr Lee led the Enterprise Risk team at the Singapore Exchange (SGX) and oversaw all aspects of governance across SGX and its subsidiaries. He also served on the Business Resiliency Committee under the Association of Banks of Singapore (ABS) and chaired the securities industry’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) SME working group.

Mr Lee holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Newcastle, a MSc (Hons) from University College Dublin and a B.A (Hons) from Acadia University.

Ricky Lim

Chief Executive Officer, Banking Computer Services Private Limited (BCS) & Managing Director, NETS Solutions

Mr Lim is CEO of BCS, a wholly owned subsidiary of NETS. BCS manages and operates the national clearing and payment infrastructure for the Singapore Automated Clearing House, including Fast And Secure Transfers (FAST), Inter-bank GIRO (IBG), Cheque Truncation System (CTS), and provides services for PayNow and SGQR Central Repository.

Mr Lim has over 20 years of experience in payments and financial services, holding a number of senior roles in global transaction services at OCBC and Citibank. Prior to NETS, Mr Lim was Senior Vice President and Head of Regional Cash Management at OCBC Bank responsible for driving the cash product strategy for Global Transaction Banking in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Greater China. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems from the University of London.
