- China UnionPay (CUP)
The CUP service offered by NETS is a cross-border
transaction facility that allows Chinese tourists
to use their local credit and debit cards
at participating CUP merchants in Singapore.
As long as their bank cards bear the CUP logo,
Chinese visitors can use them for payment.
This cashless convenience means that they
no longer need to carry around large amounts
of cash with them for shopping, and can purchase
bigger ticket items.
