NETS Cheque NETS Cheque is an innovative payment service offered by NETS that gives iNETS Mobile users the ability to issue a virtual cheque from their iNETS Mobile application for the purpose of bill payments.
NETS Cheque Flow To apply for NETS Cheque, you will need to first download and register for iNETS Mobile. Subsequently, you can nominate a bank account using Direct Debit Authorization (DDA) arrangement, and tie the NETS Cheque to your mobile phone number.
 
How do I setup my NETS Cheque?
 Step 1:
 
Request for NETS Cheque Reference Number
 
  1. Send an SMS with the word <cheque> to 7NETS (76387) and you will immediately receive an SMS with your 12-digit NETS Cheque Reference Number
  2. You will be required to indicate your NETS Cheque Reference Number during step 2 (Activation)


 Step 2:
 
Activate your NETS Cheque
You have the choice for the Direct Debit Authorization (DDA) arrangement to be made via:
 
  1. iNETS Kiosk
    For bank account holder of: POSB/DBS

    Simply visit any iNETS Kiosk with your NETS card. At the iNETS Kiosk screen, select “Other Services” “NETS Cheque” and follow the screen step-by-step instructions.

  2. Your Banks’ Internet Banking
    For bank account holder of: POSB/DBS

    After login to the Internet Banking homepage, select “Payment Services” “Add/Change GIRO Arrangement”.

    For <To Billing Organization>, select “NETS – NETS Cheque”. For <Bill Reference No.>, enter the 12-digit NETS Cheque Reference Number (refer to step 1).

  3. Physical DDA Application Form
    For bank account holder of: POSB/DBS, OCBC, UOB, SCB, CITI

    Complete the “NETS Cheque DDA Application Form” with your 12-digit NETS Cheque Reference Number (refer to step 1) and your bank details, and mail it to NETS.

 Step 3:
 
Link your NETS Cheque
Upon your bank’s approval of your DDA arrangement for NETS Cheque, you will receive an SMS to inform you that your NETS Cheque is ready to be linked to your iNETS Mobile. Approval period as follows:
 
a. iNETS Kiosk - up to 3 working days
b. Your Banks' Internet Banking - up to 3 working days
c. PhysicalDDA Application Form - up to 21 working days


To link your NETS Cheque, simply open your iNETS Mobile application in your mobile phone and select “Payments” “NETS Cheque” “Link NETS Cheque”.

Upon successful linking, your NETS Cheque will be ready for you to make bill payments using NETS Cheque.
