Roll Out of NETS FlashPay Card Top Up Points Gathers
Momentum

latest top up channels; hundreds more top up points
being rolled out.
Singapore November 26, 2009 - Singapore’s
leading electronic payments provider, NETS, today
announced hundreds more top up points to come on stream
for the NETS FlashPay card as it progressively rolls
out its extensive supporting network.
NETS FlashPay card can now be topped up at 53 Passenger
Service Centres (PSC) at SMRT stations and over 500
UOB ATMs across the country. By January, 20 more PSCs
at the Northeast and Circle Lines will offer the card
top-up services.
The NETS FlashPay card can also now be topped up at
some OCBC ATMs, and by end January, at all the over
500 OCBC ATMs. By March next year, all DBS ATMs will
also be ready to top up the card.
At the MRT stations and bus interchanges, 78 Added
Value Machines (AVMs) are being upgraded to top up
the card by February 2010. More iNETS kiosks are also
being installed at MRT stations and other high traffic
locations for customers to purchase and top up the
NETS FlashPay card. The new venues include Bukit Gombak,
Yew Tee and Simei MRT stations, and Bt Panjang, Yishun
and Sembawang bus interchanges, Chevron House and
Heeren shopping mall.
Currently customers can also top up their card at
all TransitLink Ticket Offices at MRT stations and
bus interchanges; 7-Eleven, Cheers and SPH Buzz stores;
and at some NETS Top Up machines at HDB multi-storey

NETS Chief Executive Officer, Ms Poh Mui Hoon, said:
“Our priority since the card launch last month
has been to deliver greater customer convenience with
the planned roll out of the extensive card top up
network. We will also soon introduce more innovative
ways to increase card top up convenience including
a free automatic top up (ATU) service.”
During the current promotional period, customers can
purchase the NETS FlashPay card for S$12 and get S$12
in stored value.
The card also features promotional offers at various
merchants. These include “S$1 Specials”
at Mr Bean, Koufu, SPH Buzz, Comic Connections, Poh
Kim Video and Eng Wah Cinemas. “Smart Deals”
offers are also available at Famous Amos, Auntie Anne’s,
Yoshinoya, Donut Empire, Gelateria Venezia, O’Brien’s
Irish Sandwich and Four Seasons Durian.
The card also offers rewards and prizes for transit
rides and stored value top ups. NETS has also tapped
the group of 1.2 million NTUC LinkPoint members by
offering LinkPoints for transit rides and retail purchases.
NETS currently has more than 56,000 payment points,
of which 37,000 are retail points throughout the country.
The company estimates that the yet untapped market
segments of small value payments in quick service
food and retail outlets, convenience stores and supermarkets
have S$1 billion of cash based transactions that can
potentially be converted into electronic payments.
