Jonson Siu

Jonson provides the overall terminal management strategy for NETS clients and operational deployment of these terminals locations specified by NETS merchants. In addition to developing a client enablement strategy, he will also be exploring business opportunities in the region with its Payment Solutions arm.

Astute is currently an independent operating, wholly owned subsidiary of NETS.

Jonson joined NETS in February 10, 2005 as Director for Customer Experience & Operations. He works closely across all business units to ensure NETS is delivering a seamless end-to-end payments processing experience for its customers and business partners including vendor management of cards and terminals, terminal infrastructure planning, management of NETS card centre and operational supervision of the NETS customer service call centre and business processing unit.

Jonson has more than 20 years of operations experience in the banking and financial services sectors. He started his career with Citibank Hong Kong as the security and authorisation manager where he oversaw the Visa, MasterCard and Diners Club cards, fraud control and security functions for the Hong Kong, Macau and China markets.

Jonson was also Manager, Credit, for Standard Chartered Singapore, where he oversaw the credit and risk functions for the Singapore and Brunei card markets. He also held several senior positions at OUB in the credit card business and the call centre. Most recently, he was the GM & Head of the Card Services Group of Am Bank Malaysia where he managed the group’s card business and operations and was responsible for 500 staff.

Jonson holds a Bachelor of Science from McMaster University, Canada and was also a recipient of the Governor’s Scholarship.
